Christmas Unplugged edition by Joy Nash Literature Fiction eBooks
Christmas Unplugged is a story that can be read in one sitting and enjoy.I loved that there were sisters who bickered with each other and brothers who help their family with a weekend getaway.
This was a different read for me as there were no over the top Alpha men or women, just a few hardworking people looking for some fun over a few days.
What I didn't like about the story? That there isn't more to the story between Casey and Matt. That's just me though, I love reading longer books and always want more, even from those.
So why did I rate this as four stars? I didn't really connect to the characters like I tend to do when I read. Maybe it's because I am spoiled by much longer books, who knows? However, I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a nice, wintery time read that they can read in one sitting.

Christmas Unplugged edition by Joy Nash Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
For some reason I was disappointed in this book. I think it ess the way the couple went to bed together so quickly without really getting to know one another. I think it would have been better if it had been longer and the sexual tension developed. Just didn't work for me.
I really enjoyed the characters and the love story in this book. The sister got on my nerves at times and the ending felt a little rushed because it was a short story, but I really liked Matt and Casey's story. It's a quick holiday read that will make you want to go out and find your own sexy man who happens to own/work at a holiday lodge!
What a cute, Christmas, short read. So festive, going to this rustic lodge for the Christmas holiday..two sisters, meet two brothers. One beautiful sister and one geeky, smart sister, who feels out of place....two brothers who help @ the lodge....did I mention being snowed in, no way out of gorge......snow shoes and ice skates..This location is up state New York...good book would recommend.
A quick little read. It's a fast paced romance that doesn't really let you get to know Emma and Jake, but focuses on Matt and Casey.
It was fun to read and I enjoyed the quick read! I loved the characters and the story line. A weekend of no electronics, snowed in with a hot guy, all your needs taken care of by the lodge, who wouldn't love this situation? A great little holiday read!
Interesting premise that rings pretty true in todays world. Hard working programmer agrees to accompany her sister on a Christmas getaway when sister breaks up with boyfriend. She does not realize the lodge they are going to does not have power, phone or internet. You kind of get the gist of the story. Has the perquisite happy ending.
Short quick read. Good for when you don't want to put a lot of effort into following the plot.
I enjoyed this quick holiday read. I'd have liked a tad more character development, but think that this story works very well for the length. Ms. Nash's voice is excellent for contemporary romance, and I wouldn't pass up another opportunity to read more of her books.
This was a short and sweet romance. Sweet because the two sisters find romance with two brothers in an unexpected place, snowed in at a winter resort. It was an ALMOST predictable outcome. But it was short in multiple ways. First it was simply what would be a slim volume, if it weren't on the kindle. Then beyond that, it was even shorter because the final 20% was a lead-in to the author's next book.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the story. I was just disappointed in its brevity.
If you need a sweet little romance to occupy your mind, perhaps on your trip home for Christmas, this book would be enjoyable, but not on TOO long a flight!
